We’re busy all year round. From January where we are grading and preparing tubers for sending out our pre-orders and orders. Come March and April, we are bringing some tubers on early in our glass house to start taking cuttings from. We do this on a large scale so we have lots of rooted cuttings ready. This goes on for a few months. In May and June, we’re busy sending out the cuttings and potted plants. During the Summer we’re busy tending to our Dahlia beds here at the nursery, pruning, trimming and deadheading. As soon as Autumn arrives, we’re preparing our stock for either over-wintering or grading the tubers ready to send out again.
