Our doctor, Dr. Diana Sedler, is driven by a passion for patient transformation. Whether she is correcting a gummy smile, gum recession, doing sinus elevation, or dental implants, Dr. Sedler listens to her patients' needs and concerns first.

This intentional chairside manner was inspired by an extended stay in the hospital when Dr. Sedler was young. Her doctor did not have a personable bedside manner, and she vowed she would never handle her medical practice that way. Dr. Sedler's patients know they will have her full attention when they are in her care.

Although Dr. Sedler comes from a long line of dental professionals, she is the first periodontist in her family. Her grandparents immigrated from Russia, where her grandfather was a dentist and her grandmother a dental technician. When they moved to Burbank, California, they began working at a small dental lab with five other employees. They eventually bought the lab, and today Burbank Dental Lab employs over 250 people and is run by Dr. Sedler's parents and brother.

But the lab wasn't the place for Dr. Sedler. She enjoys being face-to-face with her patients. She enjoys the fine attention to detail that surgery requires, and she considers herself one of those rare people who loves her job so much, it doesn't feel like work.

Dr. Sedler is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the American Academy of Periodontology.
